How to Install VirtualBox 2020

  • Go to the official Virtual Box website: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
  • Download the one for your OS where you will install it, in this case I will use the one for Mac.
  • Now click Next, Next, Next, Yes, Install, Finish.
  • Now that everything is ready, open Virtual Box and click on the icon with the + sign where it says Add.
  • There are 2 modes to create: guided and expert.
  • Guided mode this time. Here we select the machine name and the OS we will use.
  • We will install 64-bit Ubuntu.
  • Click Next
  • Now select a memory size. The recommended is 1024 MB.
  • Create a virtual hard disk now. It will be Virtual Box Disk Image.
  • Next
  • Dynamically allocated
  • Next
  • Select the size and location and click Create.
  • Now it will appear on the left side. Select it and click “Show”.
  • It will ask you to select a boot ISO disk. Find the one you chose and click Start.
