Contactless buttons are in high demand. They have an IR sensor that requires voltage. If you want to install one, remember you have to supply voltage to power the sensor.
Buttons without a button usually do not have voltage.

The 350 and 600 lb models are ideal. The most sold one is the 350 lb model.
They have options for “fail-secure” or “fail-safe.” This is an advantage in case of emergencies.
How to select right or left?
I stand outside my door and see which side the lock is on and which side the hinges are on. If the hinges are on the right side, the lock is right; if on the left, the lock is left. When buying, what matters is which side the hinges of my door are on.
The most common is the proximity card. It is called that because you have to bring the card close to the reader. The range is between 5 and 7 centimeters. Metal is an enemy of frequency because it absorbs it.
Inside the card there is an antenna. What we see in the middle in gold color is the chip with the card info, ID number, and all that. This type of card is called passive because it does not use a battery as such. This means they can last for years and years and won’t stop working. The frequency emitted by the reader helps the card activate and retrieve the info.
