Goodbye Dodge Challenger

The last Dodge Challenger has rolled off the plant where it was manufactured. And this is how the final farewell to the last Dodge Challenger is given.

After almost 20 years since the creation of the Challenger and Charger models and more than 2 million units sold, production has stopped. This marks the end of the era of “muscle cars,” which also included the Chrysler 300C. Speed lovers, fans of cars with loud but very powerful engines, say goodbye to generations of cars with strong presence and personality.

And so, on December 22, 2023, the last Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 was produced. Thus, the farewell to the last completely new Dodge Challenger was made.

This plant located in Brampton, Canada, will remain closed for two years. Because it will undergo an upgrade process, as it will now manufacture the new Jeep Compass and other hybrid models.

But there is no need to worry, since this is only the end of the V8 engine that powered this car. It is speculated that the new Challenger will arrive as an electric vehicle version. Meanwhile, the Charger will be presented as a combustion version but with 6 cylinders. So, this is the farewell to the Dodge Challenger as we know it.

We will see later what exactly the automaker decides to do. Did you ever have or drive a muscle car?
